School life

Where curiosity meets joy, daily

From deep concentration at the shelves to glorious chaos in the sandpit, here's what a school day here actually looks like.

Our classrooms

Four rooms, four adventures

18 months – 3 years

Pengu · Playgroup

The gentlest start: a soft, unhurried room where our littlest people find their feet, and their friends.

  • Squishing, pouring, stacking, exploring
  • Climbing, balancing and happy wobbling
  • First friends, first words, first songs
Pre-Nursery children working on map puzzles with their teacher

K1 · Pre-Nursery

Three-year-olds meet the famous Montessori shelves and discover that letters and numbers are actually toys.

  • A proper introduction to Montessori materials
  • Language, songs and first phonics
  • Early number play
Nursery children learning with flashcards on the mat
4 – 5 years

K2 · Nursery

Confidence takes off: sounds become words, counting becomes maths, and practical life becomes second nature.

  • Phonics and number recognition
  • Practical life: pouring, buttoning, tidying
  • Counting and puzzling things out
Pre-Primary children colouring at green desks
5 – 6 years

K3 · Junior Prep

The launchpad year: real reading, real writing, real maths, served with plenty of creativity and play.

  • Reading, writing and telling stories
  • Solid mathematical foundations
  • Cultural studies: maps, flags, the world
Caught in the act

Learning in action

Outside the classroom

Fresh air is on the timetable

Climbing, digging, running, painting at easels under the trees. The garden is a classroom too, just a muddier one. Outdoor time is planned as carefully as everything inside: free to roam, safe to explore, impossible to be bored.

Coming together

Big days on little calendars

From Diversity Day to Sports Day, the whole school family gathers through the year to celebrate culture, movement and friendship.

P.S. we run holiday camps in the school breaks. Ask us!
